Sadly enough, a few hours ago, 101Woonideeen posted that from now on their website is finally offline. It’s a sad day, cause I loved this magazine so much. The first time I found out about it was when I moved to the Netherlands. I was immediately in love with the design and style of this magazine. I bought it as soon as it was lying in the shelves. Each time I was curious about their DIY column. I was really inspired and encouraged to try most of their handmade home projects. This has now come to an end. But, I wouldn’t tell all this, if I didn’t have some promising news hanging up there in my creative sleeve. You know me, right.. Let’s dry up all the tears and look forward. 2015 is the year of change, so it is for 101Woonideeen.
Already, a few months ago they announced that they will team up with vtwonen, the most successful interior and decoration magazine in the Netherlands. To make it an even bigger success, merging those two subbrands of publisher brand Sanoma makes sense to me. Vtwonen is more focussed on B&W styling, whereas 101Woonideeen was always full of color. Well now we have 2 in 1, as long as I get my DIY column.. Well, good news. Vtwonen has recently launched their beautiful new website, including a great DIY page with all projects that were also launched in 101Woonideeen. Besides, you can also order a vtwonen best of DIY magazine here. What a great idea. I will definitely check it out.
Here are a few of my favorite DIYs all available on vtwonen. You can click on the photos to learn how to create those ideas yourself. And at the end a little surprise, which I was quite happy about.
And here comes the surprise. My pinwall was featured on vtwonen on their DIY page. How great is that? I’m super happy to see that. I honestly didn’t know about it. I must have missed it. Thanks vtwonen.
